MAMMOTH OLD BUILDING MATERIALS, PASSION AND PLEASURE IN AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS AND ELEMENTS
Mammoth Old Building Materials has over 30 years of experience selling and purchasing old building materials. We started as a hobby, with our work as contractors we often found beautiful old elements that customers wanted to part with. Throwing them away was not an option for us, so we started our hobby to give these useful elements a new life with a new owner.
Because the hobby was getting out of hand, we purchased a building in 2007 in which everything could be stored and from there could go on to a new owner. From this point on, the demand for old building materials kept increasing and the building became too small.
Since 2013, we have a large inventory and beautiful showroom on Lavender Street. Father and son now run the business together. A real family business that has grown into one of the best-known specialists in selling old building materials in The Hague and surrounding areas.
The large inventory on Lavender Street lives up to the name Mammoet. Mammoth specializes in old doors and stained glass. The collection includes more than 6,000. From stained glass, panel doors and sliding doors to antique fireplaces, stained glass windows and small or large building materials.

Since our founding, we have worked with passion and skill to preserve and repurpose old building materials. Over the years, our team has grown, and anno 2024 we are proud to have become an approved apprenticeship company. This means that we offer young talents the opportunity to learn the intricacies of the trade and guide them in all aspects of the craft.
As of 2025, we have added Dylano to our team. Dylano has a great passion for old building materials and is looking forward to developing his knowledge and skills. With us he will learn everything: from purchasing to sales, from disassembly to restoration. We are convinced that he will be a valuable addition to our team and look forward to realizing beautiful projects together.
Our commitment to craftsmanship, durability and quality remains unchanged. With a close-knit team and a shared passion for historic heritage, we ensure that old materials are given a second life.
