Stained glass technique

The technique behind our stained glass doors goes way back. In H-shaped lead frames, the stained glass is cut to the desired pattern and cased. At the points where the different types of glass intersect, they are soldered together.

How is the window waterproofing of a stained glass window done?

Reinforcing a stained glass window is done with a sealant applied between the lead frame and the glass. ‘Ordinary lead frames’ often do not provide the proper strength. Through lead frames are therefore provided with a core of steel of about 2 millimeters. This makes the stained glass window 1 solid panel, which can take a lot.
